About More Horror Movies
Founder and Editor, Seth Metoyer, is a Horror movie lover, producer, musical composer and metal fan.
I have been a horror fan for more than 40 years. My journey into the genre began when I watched *Terror Train* at eight years old in 1980. That film opened the door to a lifelong fascination with horror; its monsters, misfits, filmmakers, practical effects, strange mythology, and ability to turn our deepest anxieties into unforgettable stories.
I founded More Horror in 2010 as a place to share horror news, reviews, interviews, and independent projects deserving a larger audience. What began as an outlet for my love of the genre eventually became closely connected to my own work within the horror industry.
For more than 15 years, I have worked as a producer on over 20 independent feature films, earning a Daytime Emmy Award along the way. I later expanded into film composition, creating original music for several feature-length horror films. My work also reaches into the music industry as the owner of Broken Curfew Records, an independent label focused on metal, extreme music, and unconventional artists.
My creative background includes graphic design, audio engineering, music production, writing, and filmmaking. I contributed to Third Day’s Grammy Award-winning album *Come Together* and received a Dove Award nomination for my design work connected to Disciple’s album *By God*.
I created More Horror to celebrate the films and filmmakers who keep the genre alive, from major theatrical releases to low-budget independent productions built through raw imagination, stubborn determination, and gallons of fake blood. The site also gives me a place to showcase selected films, music scores, and creative projects while supporting the wider horror community.
I welcome collaborations, review requests, interviews, festival announcements, production news, and other horror-related submissions for possible coverage.
